Delphix Storage Usage
Delphix storage is primarily consumed by:
dSource (Source database compressed copy)
Timeflow (Snapshots and Logs) of dSources
Timeflow (Snapshots and Logs) of VDBs
Unique block changes by VDBs
Once the storage consumption reaches 78%, Delphix triggers a Warning message. At 85% it issues a Critical message, and important functions are automatically suspended.
You will not be able to provision VDBs, achieve compliance goals, or perform other critical business functions. Storage warnings should never be overlooked, take care of the problem immediately to avoid violating your SLAs.
