Troubleshooting Storage - Disable Source Logsync (KBA1241)
A dSource records changes to a Source database using a combination of Snapsync and LogSync. LogSync collects changes between two SnapSync and provides Point-in-time Provisioning capability. If a Source database is actively used and generating a high number of transaction logs (i.e. redo in Oracle, translogs in MSSQL, etc), then correspondingly the LogSync service could require a great deal of storage within Delphix. Turning off the LogSync service is accomplished by unchecking the LogSync option under the dSource card as shown below for Oracle database.
