AWS Elastic Data Engine Fails to Boot After Instance Change (KBA10595)

Issue

Following the change of an AWS Elastic Data Engine instance type (r5 to r6, for example), the Delphix Engine may fail to start its services, and attempts to access the Web GUI or CLI will fail.

Resolution

When this behavior is encountered, Delphix Support must be engaged to modify internal parameters which will allow the Engine to start successfully. In the interim, if it is critical to restore service, the Engine can be reverted to its previous instance type and will start successfully.

This issue will be fixed in a later release.
