Resolving Driver Support Plugin Issues After Masking Sync / Import (KBA9560)
KBA
KBA# 9560
Issue
After using the Import Environment feature or the Engine Sync import
API of the Continuous Compliance Engine, where the environment was exported from an engine running version 6.0.12.0 through 6.0.14.0 (inclusive), the following symptoms may occur:
- When editing an imported job, the following Error may appear in the Edit Job dialog:
The updated rule set (id: '1', name: 'MyTable') does not have an implementation for the following enabled tasks: 'Drop Indexes'. Either disable these tasks or use a rule set that references a driver support plugin that implements these tasks.
- When attempting to run an imported job, the job may succeed, but additional tasks such as disabling triggers or dropping constraints may not run as expected.
- When creating a new job using an imported Database Connector and attempting to enable Driver Support Tasks, the following Error may appear in the Create Masking Job dialog:
The updated rule set (id: '2', name: 'MyTable') does not have an implementation for the following enabled tasks: 'Drop Indexes'. Either disable these tasks or use a rule set that references a driver support plugin that implements these tasks.

Resolution
To resolve this issue, please upgrade the affected Continuous Compliance Engines to version 6.0.15.0 or later.
It is important that both the source engine (to correct the exported data) and the target engine (to ensure engine sync compatibility) are upgraded.
Environments exported from affected engine versions may not include the required attributes to associate a Database Connector with its Driver Support Tasks (issue ref: DLPX-81666).
If it is not possible to upgrade the Continuous Compliance Engine to a newer version, please contact Delphix Support for further assistance.
