Mounted Standby PDB dSource Shows as Inactive (KBA6877)

Issue

Due to a defect in Delphix, Oracle Multitenant PDB dSources will always display as inactive in Delphix. The associated CDB will show the correct state. All functionality for the PDB works despite inaccurately displaying as inactive, including SnapSync and a JDBC connection string test from the associated Environment. Below is a screen shot from Delphix release 6.0.5.0.

Above you can see the PDB named PDBR2AS2 shows as Inactive, yet SnapSync completes without issues. The associated CDB, R2ASMTST, shows the correct state of Active.

Resolution

This defect will be addressed in a future release of Delphix. The defect associated to this issue is DLPX-73465. Please check the release notes for future releases to see if this issue has been addressed. There is no current workaround.
