Troubleshooting Oracle VDB Performance - Display and Set NFS Kernel Parameters (KBA1500)

By default, most UNIX/Linux database hosts/servers are not configured to optimize NFS. This could lead to a substantial performance bottleneck between the Oracle database and the network to the Delphix Virtualization Engine.

Please consult the Delphix documentation found online HERE for comprehensive information explaining the kernel settings for your specific OS platform and how to set them.  Additionally, to assist in automating the display of existing NFS kernel settings, shell-scripts can be downloaded for Linux (HERE), Solaris (HERE), and AIX (HERE) target servers.  If you experience difficulty downloading these scripts from Google Drive, then please contact someone through the Delphix Community Forums to email the script to you directly.
